Copyright Policy.
How to report materials on the Grigoras Law website that you believe infringe your copyright, and how we respond. We take infringement claims seriously and will act on notices that comply with the requirements set out below.
How to submit a notice, and what happens next.
If you believe materials accessible on or from the Grigoras Law website (the "Website") infringe your copyright, you may request that we send a notice to the alleged infringer by submitting written notification (the "Notice") to our designated Copyright Agent. The chapters below set out what a Notice must contain, what it must not contain, where to send it, and how we handle it once received.
Submitting a notice of copyright infringement.
What your Notice must include, what it must not include, and the legal consequences of misrepresentation.
We take claims of copyright infringement seriously and will respond to notices of alleged infringement. To be valid, a Notice must include all of the required information set out below and must not contain any of the Prohibited Content listed after that.
What a valid Notice must include
The written Notice must include:
- your name and address;
- identification of the copyrighted work you believe to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved;
- a statement describing your interest or right with respect to the copyright in the work or other subject-matter;
- identification of the location of material you believe is infringing, in a sufficiently precise manner (for example, a direct link);
- a description of the infringement that is claimed;
- the date and time of the alleged infringement; and
- any other information that may be prescribed by regulation, which we may advise you of from time to time.
Content that is prohibited in a Notice
The Notice may not contain any of the following ("Prohibited Content"):
- an offer to settle the claimed infringement;
- a request or demand relating to the claimed infringement for payment or for personal information;
- a reference, including by way of hyperlink, to such an offer, request, or demand; and
- any other information that may be prescribed by regulation, which we may advise you of from time to time.
A Notice containing Prohibited Content will not be considered a valid Notice under this Policy.
Please be aware that if you knowingly and materially misrepresent that material or activity on the Website is infringing your copyright, you may be held liable for damages, including costs and reasonable legal fees, disbursements, and charges.

If we receive a Notice in the prescribed form, we will, as soon as feasible, forward the Notice electronically to the person to whom the electronic location identified by the location data in the Notice belongs, and inform you of our having done so. If it is not possible to forward the Notice, we will confirm with you the reasons.
